Dark Days of Gothdom - Jessica
Yes, another goth comic. I personally think the slaughterhouse setting is scary. I think it's the meat hooks that freak me out. I do like TJ's one red eye though. I said that Joe should make Chi gothic lolita, but he decided to go the nurse route instead. Oh well.
Eeevil Monkeys - Joe
This is an update of the gothic inspired adventures of TJ and the monkeys. It's a two parter, so stay tuned for the next episode. You can definitely see the progression from the older comic to this one. The TJ is more fashionable this time around. I think the inspiration was Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day. Not exactly goth, but it works for TJ. I tried to incorporate as much as I could of the various goth trends. Puggy is preppy goth, Chi is rubber nurse/fetish, and Turbo kind of has that preppy mixed with social outcast style. Think Robert DeNiro circa "Taxi Driver." I'll try to work on getting more of the monkeys into the "Goth-style" comics. Ah, my dark youth.
