Chi, Modern Action Heroine - Joe

"Rambo" was freaking awesome. There's nothing better than seeing an AARP eligible action hero take on evil Burmese pirates. Stallone was always a muscular guy, but in this movie he looks like a boulder made of veins, gnawed leather, and grease paint. He's like a five foot two Mac truck. He's that big. His take on the /character of Rambo in this film is like a combination of Snake Plissken, Dirty Harry, The Terminator, and Ryu Hayabusa (Shinobi) all jammed into a pure, animalistic killing machine. The dude is so badass that he makes his own butcher knife and then minutes later is chopping heads with it.

Chi is obviously a fan of the action movie genre. This comic is an homage to those films like "Rambo" and earlier Chuck Norris classics such as "POW" and "Deltaforce." Not that "Walker, Texas Ranger" junk, but the primal Norris who kicked ass in the jungle and judo chopped evil Vietnamese soldiers. Good times.

Um, I didn't see the movie with Joe, and I've actually never watched any of the "Rambo" movies, so I don't really have anything to write. Yeaaaah...Well, at least Chi is cute as a killing machine. The POW monkeys were way sad though.
